Role Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Payable Specialist to join our finance team. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the accurate and timely processing of invoices and payments to our suppliers. Your responsibilities will encompass building strong relationships with vendors, resolving payment inquiries, and maintaining meticulous records.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage supplier reconciliations, address queries, and process payments efficiently.
  • Coordinate meetings to resolve invoice discrepancies and ensure timely resolution.
  • Maintain accurate records in the invoice tracker system and ensure data integrity.
  • Collaborate with our shared service center and payment providers to facilitate seamless transactions.
  • Develop and nurture strong relationships with suppliers, fostering open communication and trust.
  • Conduct reconciliations and verify balance sheet accuracy for accounts payable.
  • Provide regular status reports on invoice processing and manage incoming inquiries effectively.
  • Create and manage purchase orders to ensure accurate procurement processes.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Proven experience in finance, preferably within a similar industry setting.
  • Experience with system development and implementation is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including intermediate Excel skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective vendor interaction.
