Role Overview
- Collaborate with the broader EMEA Communications team to assist in the formulation and execution of vital communication strategies for both internal and external stakeholders.
- Engage with cross-functional teams throughout the organization, covering a wide range of communication activities such as brand messaging, disease awareness initiatives, stakeholder engagement, corporate communications, internal messaging, digital outreach, reputation management, and media relations.
- Support and manage key projects within the EMEA teams to ensure successful delivery.
- Work in partnership with Eisai affiliates and teams to guarantee local project implementation and message consistency across the EMEA region.
- Identify opportunities and suitable media channels to enhance effective communication of brand and therapy area messages to both internal and external audiences, bolstering Eisai's reputation and product visibility.
- Contribute to company-wide engagement through the planning, development, and execution of internal communication strategies across various business groups and functions.
- Oversee communications agencies and third-party suppliers to ensure timely and budget-compliant project delivery.
Candidate Profile
- Demonstrated experience in delivering strategic healthcare public relations and communication programs within the pharmaceutical sector.
- Proficiency in utilizing diverse communication channels, with a strong command of digital platforms, including social media and website management.
- Solid understanding of media relations principles and experience in managing media-related issues.
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Life Sciences, or Social Sciences is preferred.
- Fluency in a second language is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively across various organizational levels.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, capable of conveying complex information clearly and concisely to diverse audiences.
- High attention to detail, strong analytical abilities, and a creative approach to problem-solving.
- Excellent personal management skills, including time management and prioritization of tasks.
- Able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic international environment while maintaining composure under pressure.
- Experience working within a matrix structure, adept at building relationships both internally and externally.
