Job Description

Job Summary

This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned Senior Quantity Surveyor to join Steve Ball Recruitment LTD as a key member of our team. As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for managing construction projects from start to finish, ensuring that they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage construction projects, including planning, budgeting, and scheduling
  • Conduct site visits to monitor progress and identify potential issues
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders
  • Prepare and review contracts, including tender documents and project agreements
  • Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Extensive experience in quantity surveying, preferably in a senior role
  • Strong knowledge of construction laws, regulations, and industry standards
  • Excellent communication and project management skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word
