We are seeking a skilled Standards Compliance Engineer to join our team.


The ideal candidate will possess a background in product design or mechanical engineering, specifically within the electrical consumer products industry.

Key Responsibilities:


As a Standards Compliance Engineer, you will be responsible for negotiating and implementing all relevant Worldwide, European, and UK standards and regulations pertaining to the production of electrical professional and consumer products.


Your main duties will include:

  • Collaborating with peer manufacturers and regulatory bodies to establish new and revised standards
  • Engaging with trade organizations to advocate for your interests
  • Coordinating with the manufacturing facility to ensure effective communication and compliance
  • The Candidate: The successful applicant will have experience in product design or mechanical engineering within the electrical consumer products sector and will have adhered to UK, European, and Worldwide standards and regulations throughout the design process.

Qualifications:

  • A creative problem solver who can understand challenges and articulate solutions
  • Capable of working independently while being part of a collaborative team environment
  • Willing to travel internationally 6 to 10 times per year
  • Detail-oriented with a strong focus on precision
Additionally, a degree in mechanical or electrical engineering (or equivalent) is preferred.
