We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Team Leader to join our Accommodation Office team at Age UK North Tyneside. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality care and support services to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a team of Personal Support Assistants to achieve high levels of continuity of service and meet contractual obligations.
  • Work closely with the Area Manager and Coordinator to ensure the effective and efficient provision of care and support services.
  • Develop and implement operational plans to meet the needs and aspirations of individuals, their families, and friends.
  • Provide practical assistance and support to individuals, promoting independence, confidence, and social networks.
  • Supervise and motivate the team to meet care and support needs, promoting independence, respect, and dignity.
Requirements
  • Health and Social Care Level 3 or similar qualification in a related field.
  • Demonstrable understanding and working knowledge of the Health and Social Care Act 2010.
  • Knowledge and understanding of quality issues and good practice in relation to the client group and service delivery.
  • Preferably a health and safety qualification.
