About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Retail Operations Manager to lead our Simple Stores Team, driving innovation and cost efficiencies in Food Retail through streamlined operations and digital innovations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings within the food retail operating model, developing and implementing strategies to deliver results.
  • Manage a team to handle customer and member complaints, providing insights to improve processes and enhance customer experience.
  • Use data and insights to create strategies that ensure colleagues and customers are understood and listened to, driving business growth and customer satisfaction.
  • Review ROI and create business cases to present to finance governance, ensuring alignment with company goals.
  • Collaborate with Food and other departments to develop a lower-cost model for all food formats, driving business efficiency and profitability.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in using data and insights to drive strategy and improvement initiatives.
  • Strong commercial acumen, stakeholder management, and ability to influence up to board level.
  • Experience in creating strategies based on data insights and ROI, with a proven track record of delivering results.
  • Strong leadership skills, with experience in delivering cost, cultural, digital, and process improvement programs.
  • Experience in an operational retail role, with a proven track record of finding efficiencies and delivering savings.
