About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Service Advisor to join our team at Lexus Reading. As a key member of our service department, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of our service and repair processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work closely with customers to arrange and plan out servicing and repairs on their vehicles
  • Provide accurate estimates for servicing and repairs, ensuring the customer is fully aware of the likely costs and timescales involved
  • Collaborate with colleagues across the dealership to provide the best service
  • Organise the collection and delivery of cars for delivery
  • Encourage the sale of parts, accessories, and service plans whenever possible
  • Update customers on workshop progress and agree any additional spends
  • Follow key processes to achieve excellent customer service and upsell targets
  • Write job cards and brief technicians on work coming in

Requirements

  • Relevant experience in a Main dealer - Ideal
  • Be an experienced Service Advisor
  • Have excellent interpersonal skills and a desire to deliver a great service
  • Work well under pressure
  • Have a desire to strive and hit sales targets
  • Understanding of computer systems such as email and manufacturer technical systems
