The selected individual will take on the role of Offshore Lifting Operations Specialist (OLOS) for our assets, which encompass offshore facilities, an onshore workshop, a warehouse, and a terminal.

This position is essential within the organization, ensuring the secure and compliant execution of all lifting activities.



Key Responsibilities:
Lift Plan Development and Endorsement:
- Formulate and endorse all types of lift plans.
- Secure Lifting Technical Authority (TA) endorsement for intricate lift plans.

Risk Assessment and Plan Evaluation:
- Regularly assess risk evaluations and lift plans for standard lifts.
- Maintain a detailed database of routine and specific lifting plans and risk assessments for the site/installation.

Personnel and Compliance Oversight:
- Keep an updated register of individuals authorized to conduct lifting operations on the site/installation.
- Act as Performing Authority (PA) for complex lifts when necessary.
- Coordinate site requirements for rigging inventory.
- Provide technical guidance to the Site LOLER Representative.
- Audit specialized contractors' lifting equipment for adherence to company standards.

Qualifications and Experience:
- OPITO Rigger Competence Stage 3 and/or NVQ Level 3 in Lifting and Moving Loads.
- OPITO LOLER Competent Person (LCP) Qualification.

CPCS Appointed Person:
- Lifting Operations A61.
- BOSIET or FOET Certificate (with CA EBS).

Offshore Medical Certificate Experience:
- A minimum of 10 years' experience in lifting, planning operations, and rigging.
- Extensive proven records for theoretical and practical knowledge regarding various categories of lifting operations (particularly complicated and complex lifts), lift planning, and rigging.

Additional Information:

The Offshore Lifting Operations Specialist will be based in the office but must be willing to travel to various onshore sites and offshore facilities as operationally required.

This role is crucial in upholding the highest standards of safety and compliance in lifting operations across all relevant assets.

This position presents a unique opportunity to contribute to a leading gas operation in the Southern North Sea, ensuring the safe and efficient management of lifting operations that are critical to the organization's success.


Working Hours:
- Monday to Friday, with travel to onshore sites and offshore facilities as operationally required.
