About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to join eXPD8 as a Retail Merchandising Specialist, working primarily within The Entertainer concession within Tesco. As a key member of our field-based retail merchandising team, you will be responsible for ensuring the fixtures are set up effectively, products and promotions are displayed attractively, and the shelves are well-stocked.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Expertise in merchandising and visual display: You will have a deep understanding of merchandising principles and be able to apply this knowledge to create visually appealing displays that drive sales.
  • Compliance and standards: You will be responsible for adhering to merchandising standards and guidelines, as well as store policies and procedures, to ensure consistency and compliance.
  • Product placement and replenishment: You will be responsible for arranging and organizing products on shelves and displays to maximize visibility and appeal.
  • Promotional and point of sale setup: You will set up promotional displays and signage to effectively communicate prices, discounts, and special offers.
  • Strong communication and relationship building: You will build and maintain good working relationships with in-store colleagues, particularly department and store managers, and provide accurate and timely feedback to our client account teams.

Requirements:

  • Experience in merchandising, retail, and/or customer service
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and use initiative to find solutions
  • Pride in delivering great standards and service for our clients
  • Comfortable with manual handling and able to move and arrange products from the warehouse to the shopfloor
  • Willingness to accept home deliveries of point of sale or stock items for some visits
  • Confidence using a company tablet to download briefs, take photos, and answer questions about tasks
  • A full UK driving license and access to a car is a bonus
