Logistics Coordinator

Our client, a prominent player in the manufacturing sector, is seeking a skilled Warehouse Operator to become a vital part of their operations.

This role is situated within the Despatch department, where team members prepare orders for shipment to clients. The successful candidate will need to demonstrate flexibility, as there may be occasions where assistance or coverage for colleagues is required.

• Wrap and package individual items
• Fill boxes according to the quantities outlined in sales orders
• Weigh packages and record details for shipping
• Support team members in handling goods
• Comply with all operational procedures and quality standards, including Known Consignor status
• Complete necessary documentation as required
• Perform additional administrative and production tasks as needed
• Foster and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues, supervisors, and clients

• Proficient in reading and writing, with the ability to interpret sales orders and perform calculations
• Valid FLT Licence (Counterbalance and/or Reach)
• Strong verbal communication skills
• Experience in safe lifting and carrying techniques
• Good manual dexterity
• Able to work efficiently while upholding quality standards
• Quick learner with the ability to adapt to new tasks
• Capable of transitioning between various tasks as needed
• Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous
