Design Engineer - Mechanical

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Design Engineer to join our in-house design team at RSE, a trusted clean water technology company. As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will play a key role in the design and development of our market-leading products and solutions for purifying drinking water, recycling wastewater, and cleaning water in industrial processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop mechanical systems and components for our water treatment products and solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design compliance with client specifications and regulatory standards.
  • Develop and maintain design deliverables, including technical documentation and drawings.
  • Assemble contract works information documents and ensure project health and safety, quality, and environmental matters are addressed.
  • Liaise with key stakeholders to implement project change control and programme requirements.
  • Take responsibility as Design Lead on allocated projects and ensure timely delivery of high-quality designs.
Requirements:
  • Degree/HND/HNC in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of British and European design standards.
  • Minimum of 5 years proven track record as a Mechanical Engineer in both a design office and in a construction environment within the Water (or related Process) Industry.
