About the Role

We are seeking an experienced IT Support Specialist to join our team at Reed Technology. As the first point of contact for internal staff seeking IT support, you will be responsible for delivering on 1st and 2nd line support requirements, providing technical support across a range of software and hardware, and escalating to the third-party IT Managed Service Provider when required.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Provide technical support to internal staff, resolving issues and escalating as necessary.
  2. Collaborate with the third-party IT Managed Service Provider to ensure timely resolution of escalated issues.
  3. Participate in upgrade projects and hardware and software rollouts, both within head office and to organisational sites around Scotland.
  4. Coordinate technical training sessions to upskill employees.
  5. Contribute to the improvement of the organisation's IT offering, providing input on technology innovations that can have a positive impact.
About You
  1. Proven experience working within an IT support environment, ideally in an IT service desk or internal IT support role.
  2. Strong technical skills, with experience with the full Microsoft stack including common applications, Outlook, Teams, and SharePoint.
  3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to provide technical support to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  4. Desirable: experience with IT security.
