As a recognized home care provider for the past five years, our client is committed to assisting individuals in the community, allowing them to maintain their independence in their own homes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with personal hygiene tasks, including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
- Administer medications as directed by healthcare professionals.
- Support clients with meal planning and preparation.
- Perform light housekeeping duties, such as cleaning and laundry.
- Accompany clients to appointments and social outings.
- Monitor and report any changes in clients' health or behavior.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client care.
- Communicate effectively with clients, their families, and healthcare professionals.
Required Qualifications:
- Previous experience in care is preferred, but candidates without experience will be considered.
- NVQ Level 2 or higher in Health and Social Care.
Driving License:
A valid driving license is essential for this position.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Excellent communication skills.
- A genuine passion for providing care.
Preferred Qualifications:

Working Conditions:
This role involves providing care to clients in their own homes. The Supportive Care Assistant will need to travel to various client locations and deliver care in diverse settings. The position may require working on weekends and occasional evenings.
The Supportive Care Assistant should be physically fit and capable of performing the necessary duties in a home care environment.
