About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Radiographer to join our team at Nuffield Health St Bartholomew's Hospital. As a Cardiac Imaging Specialist Radiographer, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging services for a varied caseload within the cardiac cath lab, as well as CT or MRI.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver High-Quality Diagnostic Imaging Services: You will be responsible for delivering a high-quality diagnostic imaging service for a varied caseload within the cardiac cath lab, as well as CT or MRI.
  • Equipment Proficiency: You will be highly proficient in the use of all equipment within scope of practice.
  • Leadership and Development: You will take an active part in supervising and developing junior colleagues.
  • Quality Assurance: You will participate in departmental audits and Quality Assurance programmes.
  • Equipment Maintenance: You will ensure equipment is safe and fit for purpose and report faults in line with Nuffield Health policy.
  • IV Cannulation: You will be competent in IV cannulation.
  • Policy and Procedure: You will provide input to the review, update and implementation of departmental policy and procedural changes.
  • Compliance: You will comply with all Nuffield Health policies and procedures.
  • Record Keeping: You will ensure all records are maintained in line with statutory and organisational requirements.
  • On-Call Rota: You will participate in the Cath lab, X-ray and CT on-call rota (within scope of practice).
