Location: Portsmouth/Havant - Penner Road

Compensation: £46,626 - £55,154 along with a variety of additional benefits to support your family, finances, and overall wellbeing.

We are seeking a Minor Connections Quotation Supervisor to oversee our operations.

In this role, you will ensure that the quotations produced by the minor connections team are precise, compliant, and adhere to all standards and regulatory requirements across the four regions in Southern England (SEPD - Wessex, Thames Valley, South East, Ridgeway).

The Minor Connections Quotation Supervisor will lead a team responsible for generating detailed quotations for the minor connection sector.

Your focus will be on enhancing the customer experience and facilitating their journey through the connection process.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the Minor Connections Quoters, guiding them with daily prioritization, workflow management, and instructions to ensure optimal and cost-effective design solutions.
• Manage the Time To Quote for each project and coordinate with other departments to address issues such as late clock starts, re-quotes, and market segment changes.
• Enhance quality and productivity by managing team workloads and proactively reviewing incoming jobs before allocation, addressing any discrepancies with the application team.
• Support internal stakeholders, including the delivery team, customer experience team, advisors, and complaints team throughout the project lifecycle, providing an escalation route while ensuring technical support from application to job completion.
• Inspire, motivate, and empower your team to reach their full potential by fostering staff engagement, team building, and recognizing outstanding performance.

Qualifications:

To be eligible for this position, we would appreciate the following qualifications:

• Educational background at a City and Guilds Level in Electrical Engineering or a related field, along with extensive industry knowledge and/or relevant experience.
• Strong people management skills with a proven history of leading, coaching, and motivating teams.
• Experience in design within a regulated environment, preferably with a focus on quotations.
• Ability to understand and respond to KPI metrics related to work output (Time to Quote and Broad Measure) with effective communication to the team and broader organization.
• Capability to forecast and plan projects with prioritization while effectively managing KPIs.
