We are seeking an experienced and skilled Independent Reviewing Officer to join our team at We Do Social Work. As an IRO, you will play a critical role in ensuring the welfare and well-being of looked after children in Rochdale.
Key Responsibilities- Quality assure care planning processes for looked after children in line with the Care Planning Regulations 2010.
- Chair and report on looked after children reviews, ensuring that practice standards are adhered to in line with council policy.
- Discharge IRO duties in line with the IRO Handbook 2010, ensuring that children and young people are engaged in their reviews.
- Liaise with social workers and senior managers to ensure final care planning and permanence is achieved for looked after children in a timely manner.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement in outcomes of looked after children through quality assurance of care planning.
- New 'Faster Pay' service, getting you paid more quickly.
- Twice weekly payroll.
