Pay: £11.44 Per Hour
Contract Details: Temp To Perm, full-time, Monday - Friday, 08:00AM - 16:45PM
Responsibilities:
- Efficiently and accurately pick and pack products for shipment
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment
- Receive and inspect incoming goods, checking for quality and accuracy
- Operate warehouse equipment, such as forklifts (must have in-date licenses) pallet jacks, safely and effectively
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily productivity targets
- Contribute to continuous improvement efforts by suggesting process enhancements
- Adhere to health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe work environment
- Participate in periodic inventory counts
- Assist with other warehouse tasks as needed
- Follow company policies and procedures
Job Summary:
Adecco is seeking a skilled Warehouse Operative to join our client's dynamic warehouse team. As a key member of the team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of products to our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Picking and packing products for shipment with high accuracy and efficiency
- Maintaining a clean and organized warehouse environment, adhering to health and safety guidelines
- Receiving and inspecting incoming goods, checking for quality and accuracy
- Operating warehouse equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, safely and effectively
- Collaborating with team members to meet daily productivity targets and contribute to continuous improvement efforts
Requirements:
- Previous experience working in a warehouse or similar environment is preferred, but not essential
- Ability to lift heavy objects and stand for long periods
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Proficient in using warehouse equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks (training will be provided if needed)
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
