Opportunity to Join a Groundbreaking Clinical Trial

NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde is seeking highly motivated and experienced Assistant Psychologists to join a new Wellcome Trust-funded clinical trial: Sleeping Better. This multicentre clinical trial aims to test the effectiveness of sleep interventions in individuals at risk of developing psychosis, those recovering from a first episode of psychosis, and those with non-affective psychosis.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Identification, recruitment, and informed consent of participants
  • Supervision of a Band 8a Clinical Psychologist
  • Delivery of sleep interventions under the supervision of a Band 8a Clinical Psychologist
Requirements:
  • Psychology graduate with a 2.1 degree or above (BPS accredited)
  • Knowledge of evidence-based psychological approaches to insomnia and psychosis
  • Experience in psychological research, data entry, and report writing
  • Ability to work effectively with colleagues in a clinical and research context
