Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Maintenance Technician to join our team at HAMILTON ROWE RECRUITMENT SERVICES LTD. As an Electrical Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our electrical systems and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify and diagnose faults in electrical systems and equipment, conducting repairs, adjustments, and necessary maintenance tasks as needed.
  • Perform routine servicing, repairs, or adjustments on plant or machinery as per the planned maintenance schedule provided by Engineering Supervisors, Building Services Manager, and FM Help desk.
  • Ensure that any plant faults and defects are promptly addressed to keep the plant in a fully serviceable condition at all times.
  • Provide detailed parts lists and estimated time frames for completing remedial work.
  • Complete all necessary documentation for Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM), reactive repairs, and breakdowns, and submit promptly to the Contract Administrator.
  • Prepare and utilize Method Statements and Risk Assessments for all tasks to maintain safe working practices at all times.
Requirements:
  • Full time apprenticeship in an electrical or Building Services HVAC discipline complete with City & Guilds 236 part 1 & 2 certification or NVQ Level 3.
  • Previous experience working in a modern building services maintenance environment, and able to demonstrate basic understanding of HVAC and building services.
  • Electrical fault finding, working inside panels.
  • 17th or 18th Edition certification.
  • HV Training is desirable.
