Job Description:

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Commissioning Engineer to join our client's team, a leading specialist in smoke ventilation with over 30 years of experience in the industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for commissioning mechanical extract systems and other smoke ventilation systems, managing projects to ensure timely completion, and providing quotations for clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Commissioning mechanical extract systems and other smoke ventilation systems
  • Manage projects to ensure timely completion
  • Provide quotations for clients
  • Wire, fix, and commission mechanical extract systems and smoke ventilation products from various manufacturers
  • Manage large or small installations, ensuring the team is working to the correct design and standards
  • Communicate with other trades to ensure smooth project completion

Requirements:

  • NVQ Electrical installations or equivalent
  • At least 5 years of experience in commissioning extract or smoke ventilation systems
  • SSSTS or higher
  • JIB/ECS card Holder
  • Span set, PASMA, IPAF
  • Working knowledge of ADB; BS EN 12101; BS 9999; BS 9991 & BS 7346 pt 8
  • Working knowledge of multiple manufacturers' equipment, e.g., Colt, SCS, FDS & SE Controls
  • Current full clean driving license
  • NIC/IC electrical tester
