Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Carpenter / Joiner to join our team at Morgan Sindall Property Services, covering the Leeds and York areas with travel to surrounding regions.
About the Role
As a Carpenter / Joiner, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality repairs and maintenance work to void properties, utilizing your carpentry and other trade skills to achieve excellent customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out responsive and planned repairs to void properties, ensuring timely completion and adherence to best practices.
- Undertake carpentry and other trade repairs and maintenance work, with a focus on kitchen fitting experience.
- Receive and complete assigned tasks using a handheld device, working efficiently and safely to achieve excellent customer experience.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will hold a relevant trade City and Guilds qualification or equivalent, with excellent working Health & Safety knowledge. You will be customer-focused, with experience of working in both occupied and void properties, and have a passion for completing high-quality repairs on time, first time.
Requirements
- Hold a valid full or automatic UK driving licence, as a company vehicle will be provided for work use.
- Be willing to work on an on-call rota, with a weekly standby and additional callout payment.
