We are seeking a seasoned Regulatory Expert to join our team at G MASS, specializing in MiFID and financial markets regulations. This is a 6-month contract with the possibility of extension, working on a hybrid basis (approximately 3 days in office).

As a Financial Markets Specialist, you will be responsible for:

  • Back-reporting projects with a large number of transactions, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Providing expertise to support a UK wholesale markets review, analyzing key impacts of UK and EU regulations.
  • Breaking down complex regulatory requirements, including EU MiFID & MiFIR, to inform business decisions.
  • Developing a comprehensive remediation framework for our clients, ensuring adherence to regulatory standards.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in back-reporting projects with a large number of transactions, directly with regulatory bodies.
  • Strong knowledge of asset classes, including Equities, FX, and Portfolio Trades.
  • Competency in using Unavista, with a certificate preferred but not required.
  • Experience working with Kaizen review processes.
  • Extensive experience in MiFID regulations, particularly in the sell-side.
  • Knowledge of E&O forms and their application.
  • Solid understanding of UK and EU regulations, with the ability to analyze and interpret complex requirements.
  • Previous experience as a Business Analyst/Project Manager in a regulatory environment.
