Job Summary

Croydon Health Services NHS Trust is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Occupational Therapist to join our Adult Community team as a Band 6. The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing the functional needs of adults in their homes and in a community setting, in line with relevant legislation and policies.

Main Responsibilities
  • Manage a caseload of clients with complex needs, using evidence-based principles to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate interventions.
  • Provide leadership for junior staff through supervision, competencies, and appraisal.
  • Participate in the planning, development, and evaluation of Therapy services within a designated area/team, holding responsibility for defined projects.
  • Contribute to the maintenance and development of the trust's Therapy service.
  • Regularly supervise Occupational Therapy students on practice placements.
