About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to teach and inspire students in a supportive and inclusive educational environment. Your main responsibilities will include planning and delivering engaging English lessons, assessing student progress, and providing feedback and support to students to help them succeed.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and deliver engaging English lessons to inspire and motivate students.
  • Ensure curriculum requirements are met and create stimulating learning experiences.
  • Assess student progress and provide feedback to students and parents.
  • Manage classroom behavior and create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and share best practices.
  • Support students in their personal and academic development.
  • Participate in staff meetings, parent-teacher conferences, and professional development activities.
Requirements
  • Qualified teacher status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Proven experience teaching English at the primary or secondary level.
  • Strong subject knowledge and a passion for English literature.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to motivate and inspire students.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Familiarity with current educational practices and curriculum standards.
  • Commitment to continuous professional development and ongoing learning.
