Medical Device Quality Assurance Specialist

GxPeople Global is seeking a highly skilled Quality Engineer to join their team at their Manchester headquarters.
This is a full-time office-based role that involves both Quality Assurance and Quality Control activities, including supplier management, development of the QMS system, product inspection, and release.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of ISO 13485 and compliant processes and procedures, as well as QA and QC experience in a medical device company.
Key Responsibilities- Manage supplier relationships and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
- Conduct external audits of suppliers and implement corrective actions as necessary
- Investigate and resolve non-conformances and customer complaints
- Review and approve product inspection and release documentation
- Develop and maintain QMS documentation, including SOPs and policies
- Collaborate with the Quality Manager to develop and implement new QMS procedures
- Strong understanding of ISO 13485 and compliant processes and procedures
- QA and QC experience in a medical device company
- Degree qualified or quality qualification
- Minimum 2 years' experience in a relevant work setting
