Electrical Systems Lead – Cross-Functional

Position Overview:
We are currently seeking an Electrical Systems Lead to play a pivotal role in executing a groundbreaking design initiative for a novel nuclear energy facility.

Key Responsibilities:
As the Electrical Systems Lead for the Cross-Functional team, you will provide technical direction and specialized knowledge throughout the entire lifecycle of Electrical Systems for the nuclear power plant.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Leading and mentoring a team of electrical engineers, establishing work plans on various cross-functional topics.
  • Overseeing the design and implementation of cable systems, electrical modularization, standardization, and electrical layouts.
  • Managing the electrical load schedule and other related areas to ensure comprehensive system design delivery.
  • Collaborating with engineering teams across the project to apply a structured systems engineering methodology.
  • Engaging in the complete lifecycle management of Electrical Systems, including both classified and non-classified applications.

Candidate Profile:
We are looking for candidates who possess the following qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience in electrical power engineering within a design capacity, particularly in modular HV and LV distribution systems.
  • A proven track record of managing electrical or multidisciplinary design teams.
  • Experience in reviewing and approving design outputs from various engineering disciplines.
  • Familiarity with electrical design software for system analysis and cable system design.
  • Knowledge of electrical requirements for HV and LV architecture.
  • Awareness of relevant codes and standards for electrical components.
  • Experience in regulated industries (e.g., Nuclear, Defence, Aerospace, Rail, Automotive, Oil & Gas) is advantageous.

Qualifications:
Ideally, candidates will hold a degree in electrical engineering or a related field.
