We are seeking a skilled Veterinary Surgeon to join our experienced team at Robson Vets, Laurencekirk. As one of our team members moves on to specialize in Internal Medicine, we need an additional vet to share the workload and provide exceptional care to our patients.
Key Responsibilities- Consulting and operating duties, shared over a 4-day week, with up to 40 hours of work per week.
- Collaboration with local referral practices and a visiting orthopaedic surgeon for advanced procedures.
- Providing in-patient care, with our nursing staff on site 24/7 when required.
We have a well-equipped practice with digital dental and standard radiography, cold laser, rigid and flexible endoscopes, and a recently upgraded ultrasound machine with cardiac probe. Our on-site laboratory offers biochemistry, haematology, urinalysis, and cytology capabilities, with plans to add tabletop AI slide interpretation soon. We have dedicated dog, cat, ICU, and isolation wards, as well as 2 operating theatres, a dental suite, and an imaging room.
We hold the ISFM Cat Friendly Silver award, are a Positive Pawprint Partner, and a PDSA Partner Practice. Laurencekirk is located on the Angus/Aberdeenshire border, with easy access to Aberdeen and Dundee.
