Key Responsibilities:
As a Perioperative Specialist, you will deliver exemplary planned care for patients in the perioperative setting and assist in the management and organization of care in the operating theatre.
- Evaluate patients' health and well-being across a diverse and evolving caseload.
- Support the delivery of care to enhance patients' health and wellness.
- Communicate complex, sensitive, or contentious information effectively.
- Enhance your own knowledge and skills while fostering the development of others.
- Advocate for best practices in health, safety, and security.
- Assist in the maintenance and enhancement of services.
- Contribute to initiatives aimed at quality improvement.
- Uphold principles of equality, diversity, and rights.
- Utilize technology for measurement, monitoring, and treatment purposes.
- Recognize the risks associated with Healthcare Associated Infections (HCAI) and understand your responsibilities in their prevention and control.
Ideal Candidate:
- Registered Nurse or Operating Department Practitioner.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively within teams and independently.
- Experience in a caregiving role.
- Demonstrated clinical reasoning skills across a variety of complex patient cases.
- Proficiency in a range of skills, supported by professional and clinical knowledge obtained through state registration and additional training.
- Fulfillment of mandatory training requirements, including infection control and health and safety competencies.
- Demonstration of accountable practice principles.
- Competence with Equipment and Medical Devices.
- Proficiency in English language, achieving IELTS 7.0 or equivalent.
