About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and caring individual to join our team as a Bank Support Worker at Orbis Education and Care. As a Bank Support Worker, you will have the flexibility to work on a bank basis, choosing when you are available to work.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide physical and emotional support to our residents, ensuring their needs are met in a supportive and caring environment.
  • Support our residents during recreational activities, outings, and community integration, promoting independence, self-esteem, and confidence.
  • Work collaboratively with the team to tailor support to meet individual needs, keeping accurate records of activities, progress, and incidents.
  • Contribute to general housekeeping duties, including meal preparation.
Requirements
  • A compassionate and caring nature, with a genuine desire to make a positive impact.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships.
  • Resilience and patience when faced with challenges, adapting to individual needs.
  • A willingness to learn and follow guidance from the team.
  • Basic IT skills for record keeping and communication purposes.
What We Offer

We offer a competitive hourly rate and the opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment. A driving licence is not essential, but would be advantageous. Please note that this role involves regulated activity with adults and requires an enhanced DBS with barred list check.
