GCSE Science Tutor Job Description

We are seeking a passionate and experienced GCSE Science Tutor to join our team at Tutors Green. As a GCSE Science Tutor, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality tuition to students in the Hackney area.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver engaging and informative lesson plans for small groups or 1:1 tuition.
  • Provide tuition that is tailored to the individual needs and study level of each student.
  • Assess and address any barriers to student learning, working to overcome these challenges.
  • Monitor student progress and produce regular reports.
  • Create a positive and supportive learning environment that fosters academic success.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest curriculum content and qualification frameworks.
  • Regularly report updates to the Tuition Programmes Manager.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant subject.
  • Experience working with students with Special Educational Needs is preferred.
  • At least 2 years of tutoring or teaching experience.
  • Ability to work with students of all abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Right to be self-employed in the UK.
