Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced SMSTS Site Manager to join our team at Stott and May. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for ensuring that all field activities are carried out in accordance with agreed designs, working practices, and health and safety requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct onsite quality, health and safety, and risk assessments
  • Ensure the build partner handles waste material in accordance with existing and applicable legislation
  • Manage and supervise a team of construction professionals
  • Develop and implement construction plans and schedules
  • Monitor and control construction costs and resources
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations and industry standards

Requirements:

  • SMSTS certification
  • Previous supervisory experience on large UK FTTx projects
  • Full UK driving license
  • Knowledge and experience of health and safety practices for traffic management, excavations, and underground asset avoidance
