Environmental Impact Assessment Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Environmental Impact Assessment Specialist to join our UK Impact Assessment department. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in coordinating statutory and non-statutory environmental assessment processes for major development proposals in the energy sector.
Key Responsibilities- Environmental Baseline Data Collection and Analysis: You will be responsible for scoping and coordinating environmental baseline data collection, interpreting data, and providing advice on environmental and sustainability constraints and opportunities for development.
- Trusted Advisor Relationships: You will develop trusted advisor relationships with Ramboll colleagues, supply chain partners, and clients, providing expert advice and guidance on environmental and sustainability matters.
- Advanced Report Writing and Spatial Data Management: You will have advanced report writing skills and be able to provide efficient peer review and coordination of management of spatial data, including the preparation of figures.
- Project Delivery Support and Leadership: You will support and/or lead key technical and commercial aspects of project delivery, working collaboratively with project directors and other team members.
- Stakeholder Engagement and Public Consultation: You will provide advisory skills in relation to preparing materials for stakeholder meetings and public consultations, and participate in public consultation processes.
We are looking for an experienced Environmental Impact Assessment Specialist with a strong background in environmental sciences, environmental engineering, or a related discipline. You will have prior EIA coordination experience on complex projects, with experience in the energy sector being advantageous but not essential.
You will have excellent communication skills, both written and oral, and be able to work effectively in a team environment. You will also have a strong understanding of environmental consenting processes in the UK and EIA processes and regulations.
