**About the Role**
We are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Assistant to support our Purchase Ledger team in Witham. As an Accounts Payable Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that all supplier invoices are processed and paid in a timely and accurate manner.
**Key Responsibilities**
* Process and code invoices in accordance with company policies and procedures
* Reconcile supplier statements to ensure accuracy and completeness
* Perform general finance administration tasks, including data entry and record-keeping
* Respond to invoice queries and resolve any discrepancies
* Post invoices and obtain approval for sign-off as required
* Ensure that suppliers are paid in accordance with company policies and procedures to avoid any inaccuracies
**Requirements**
* Previous experience in an Accounts Assistant or Accounts Administrator role
* Excellent organizational and time management skills, with a focus on attention to detail
* Good customer service skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with suppliers and colleagues
* Salary: 23k-25k DOE
* Hours: Monday-Friday, 9am-5:30pm
* Fully office-based, with free parking
