Flood Risk Consultant Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Flood Risk Consultant to join our team at a growing Transport & Infrastructure business. As a Flood Risk Consultant, you will play a crucial role in producing and advising on flood risk and drainage strategies for various sectors, including residential, energy, retail, industrial, and commercial developments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Liaise with clients to deliver solutions and provide expert advice
  • Attend design meetings and collaborate with local and regional teams
  • Manage projects and clients while maintaining detailed design
  • Interact with local authorities and conduct site visits
Requirements:
  • Degree in Civil Engineering, Geography, Environmental Science, or a related field
  • 1-3 years of post-graduate experience in a consultancy background
  • Experience in flood risk and sustainable drainage strategy for private sector developments, energy, and regeneration projects
  • Knowledge of SuDS standards and relevant software such as GIS and AutoCAD
  • Understanding of the UK planning process for new developments, energy, and regeneration projects
