Job Summary

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a leading engineering firm, Tony Gee and Partners, on a wide range of major projects across the UK. As a Civil and Structural Engineering Specialist, you will have the chance to work alongside experienced engineers and contribute to the design and delivery of complex projects.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Design and deliver civil and structural engineering projects, including bridges, using Eurocodes and other relevant standards.
  2. Lead and manage teams of engineers and technicians to ensure projects are completed on time and to budget.
  3. Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders to ensure project success.
  4. Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices to ensure the delivery of innovative and cost-effective solutions.
Requirements
  1. Minimum of four years' experience in civil engineering design, with a focus on bridges and Eurocodes.
  2. Proven experience in leading and managing teams, with a track record of delivering projects on time and to budget.
  3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and stakeholders.
  4. Strong technical skills, with a deep understanding of Eurocodes and other relevant standards.
Desirable Skills
  1. Experience in finite element software and other advanced analysis tools.
  2. Knowledge of composite steel/concrete, masonry, geotechnical, and timber design to Eurocodes.
  3. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  4. Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think creatively and develop innovative solutions.
Qualifications

BEng or MEng

Working towards Chartered Civil Engineer (CEng MICE or MIStructE) status.
