We are seeking a highly skilled Manual Tester/Test Analyst to join our team at Barclays. As a key member of our Financial Crime Platform team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and accuracy of our analytical models.

Key Responsibilities
  • Validation and Assurance: Independently validate and assure the quality of our analytical models, ensuring they are accurate, reliable, and sound.
  • Model Development: Develop and implement validation plans for new and existing models, including preparation of model documentation and ongoing monitoring frameworks.
  • Analysis and Assessment: Analyze and assess the accuracy, performance, and compliance of our models with regulatory requirements, performing back testing and stress testing as needed.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective model development and implementation, communicating complex information to stakeholders and influencing outcomes.
Requirements
  • Expertise in Automation: Hands-on experience with QA and QA automation domain, expertise in automation of integration tests using languages like Java or Scala.
  • Agile Methodologies: Experience with SCRUM and Kanban agile methodologies, including tooling such as Jira or AgileCentral.
  • Behavioral Driven Development: Knowledge of Behavioral Driven Development, preferably with Cucumber or jBehave frameworks.
  • Technical Skills: Working knowledge of Linux environment and basic shell scripting, experience with tools such as Selenium, REST API testing, and SQL.
Desirable Skills
  • Cloud Technology: Knowledge of cloud technology such as AWS or Openshift.
  • Investment Banking: Knowledge of investment banking or correspondent banking AML transaction monitoring.
