An exciting opportunity has emerged for a Youth Care Team Leader in one of our residential facilities. We are seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals who aspire to positively impact the lives of our remarkable children and young people by setting a strong example for other support staff.
Key Information- Competitive hourly rate of £14.22 plus £30 per sleep-in shift
- 224 hours of paid annual leave
- Flexible working hours on a rota basis, with a monthly schedule provided four weeks in advance
- 40-hour work week spread across 2-3 shifts, promoting an excellent work-life balance
- This role requires commitment throughout the year, including holidays, which can be enjoyable when celebrated with the children
- Shifts will include long hours and essential sleep-ins, with variations depending on the specific residential setting
- Addressing the needs of children and young people in accordance with regulatory standards
- Coordinating team schedules and assisting the Deputy and Home Manager in various meetings and tasks
- Supporting the Registered Manager and/or Deputy Manager in executing all aspects of the Statement of Purpose
- Performing additional reasonable tasks as directed by the Registered Manager and/or Deputy Manager
- Providing supervision in the absence of the Registered Manager and/or Deputy Manager
- Fostering a diverse and inclusive culture within the home
- Creating a secure, family-like environment for the children
- Applicants must be at least 21 years old due to regulatory requirements
- Driving skills are preferred but not mandatory, depending on the location of the residential homes
