Pricing Analyst Job Description

RAC is seeking a skilled Pricing Analyst to join our Consumer Roadside Pricing Team on a permanent basis. This role will be delivered on a flexible hybrid model of working three days from home and two days at our Bradley Stoke office in Bristol.

The successful candidate will report into the Senior Pricing Manager and be responsible for developing advanced analysis of data. Using mathematical and statistical techniques, they will ensure that product profitability is maintained while maximizing growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the pricing analysis and provide recommendations on pricing and volume forecast based on new promotional campaigns
  • Data management and maintenance skills to transform raw data into high-quality analysis
  • Perform post-implementation analysis to ensure pricing changes are performing as expected
  • Monitor and analyze performance against budget and identifying actions as required
  • Produce communications and presentations of superior quality
Requirements:
  • At least 2 years of analytical experience in a relevant field (such as Finance, Insurance, Banking etc.)
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel
  • Highly numerate with strong analytical & problem-solving skills
  • The ability to be a natural problem solver
Desirable Attributes:
  • Experience of using mathematics and statistics to explore large datasets for analysis
  • Experience in the use of programming languages (SAS or SQL)
  • Excellent technical knowledge of pricing and analytical techniques
  • Knowledge of R and Python
