An exciting opportunity has arisen for a committed and enthusiastic Primary Education Support Specialist. Step Teachers is partnering with a primary institution in Hackney to recruit a Primary Education Support Specialist to assist learners in Years 4 and 5. This institution has received a 'Good' rating from Ofsted, and students exhibit a strong passion for learning and a desire to expand their knowledge.

Key Duties:

  • Assist the classroom educator in lesson preparation and classroom management.
  • Provide individualized and small group support to students, ensuring their active participation and concentration.
  • Foster a positive, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment.
  • Support students with varying abilities and learning needs, including those with special educational requirements.
  • Serve as a positive role model for students, promoting appropriate behavior and social skills.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience as a Primary Education Support Specialist is required.
  • Strong organizational and administrative capabilities are essential.
  • Effective communication skills to interact with both staff and students.
  • Ability to adapt to the dynamic nature of the educational environment.
  • A relevant qualification such as a Level 2/3 Certificate in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools is preferred but not mandatory.
