Job Description

Job Summary:

Mastek is seeking an experienced Oracle Project Manager to lead our Oracle program management efforts. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering successful Oracle projects that meet our clients' needs and exceed their expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Stakeholder Management:
    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with executive sponsors, programme directors, business heads, Oracle CSMs, Oracle PSMs, and other stakeholders.
    • Ensure effective communication and collaboration across all teams, including vertical leads, PMs, SA's, project teams, and support functions.
  • Gross Profit Margins:
    • Ensure programs are executed within timelines, efforts, and budget, while maintaining sales gross profit margins or agreed profit margins.
    • Develop and maintain month-on-month revenue and resource forecasts until program closure, ensuring minimum variance.
    • Monitor and report on gross profit margins, ensuring any slippages beyond sales GP are approved by vertical leaders.
  • Successful Contract Execution:
    • Develop a detailed understanding of every clause in the contract.
    • Review and approve Bill of Materials, SOW, and ITT responses, ensuring compliance with contract scope elements.
    • Maintain program-level risk registers and develop mitigation plans.
    • Ensure timely signoffs and address customer and scope changes, covering CRs for every slippage.
    • Work with customers and account managers to execute additional scope elements mentioned in the contract.
  • Escalation and Dispute Management:
    • Handle program-level escalations and apprise vertical leaders and account managers of critical escalations.
    • Coordinate with vertical leaders, account managers, customers, and legal teams for dispute management, involving commercial discussions and negotiations.
  • Value Creation:
    • Identify opportunities to go beyond SOW without compromising GP%.
    • Review VBA Reports and KPIs, guiding the team on fine-tuning messaging.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in Oracle program management, with a strong track record of delivering successful projects.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret financial data, ensuring gross profit margins are maintained.
  • Strong contract management skills, with a detailed understanding of contract clauses.
  • Ability to develop and maintain risk registers and mitigation plans.
  • Excellent problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
