Disability Assessor

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Disability Assessor to join our team at Aspect Healthcare. As a Disability Assessor, you will play a vital role in assessing the cases of individuals applying for a Work Capability Assessment (WCA) as part of the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) Health Assessment and Advisory Services (HAAS).
Key Responsibilities- Conduct thorough assessments of individuals with diverse health conditions to gain a clear understanding of their challenges and how their disability affects their daily life.
- Interpret medical evidence and gather findings into comprehensive reports to support the decision-making process by the DWP.
- Work autonomously in an office-style environment and at home to complete assessments over the telephone, video, or face-to-face.
- Registered Nurses, Physios, Paramedics, and Occupational Therapists with at least 1 year's broad post-registration experience and UK experience are eligible to apply.
- NMC/HCPC registration is required.
- Proactive, keen to learn, and receptive to feedback.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to work autonomously and I.T competency is a must-have.
- A competitive salary of £39,500 per annum.
