Job Title: Maintenance Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team at Planet Recruitment. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing equipment and processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues and breakdowns in a timely and efficient manner.
  2. Plan and execute preventative maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and optimize equipment performance.
  3. Collaborate with production personnel to ensure equipment usage and efficiency are maximized while maintaining safety and quality standards.
  4. Liaise with suppliers to obtain external expertise when required to maintain site or machines.
  5. Manage maintenance records and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  6. Develop and implement maintenance plans to reduce machine downtime costs and improve overall equipment effectiveness.
  7. Work closely with the Maintenance Team Leader to plan and execute preventative maintenance schedules for all machinery and ancillaries.
  8. Undertake planned maintenance programs and review tasks and frequencies to ensure optimal maintenance of all equipment.
  9. Ensure all statutory inspections, testing, and certification are completed on time and adequate records are maintained.
Requirements:
  1. Time-served high-level technical expertise of modern Injection Moulding machinery.
  2. Qualification in Mechanical or Electrical engineering.
  3. Excellent communication and relationship-building skills at all levels of the organization, including senior management and stakeholders.

Schedule:
  1. 8 hour shift
  2. Day shift
  3. Monday to Friday
  4. Overtime
