About the Role:
We are seeking a talented Graduate Planner to join our team at Carrington West, a leading planning consultancy. This is an excellent opportunity to advance your career in a supportive and dynamic environment, working on a variety of planning projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with the preparation and submission of planning applications, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and guidelines.
- Prepare high-quality planning reports and supporting documents, utilizing strong analytical and writing skills.
- Liaise with clients, local authorities, and stakeholders to ensure effective communication and project delivery.
- Support senior planners with research and the planning application process, contributing to the success of our projects.
About You:
To be successful in this role, you will possess:
- A degree in Town Planning or a related field, with a strong understanding of the UK planning system.
- Membership or working towards membership with the Royal Town Planning Institute (RTPI) is preferred.
- Some experience in planning, within a consultancy or local authority, is beneficial but not essential.
- Excellent report writing and analytical skills, with the ability to work accurately and efficiently.
- A full UK driving licence and access to a car, to facilitate travel to project sites.
