Job Overview

Prospectus is delighted to be supporting a community foundation in Surrey with the recruitment of a new Grants Officer role.

This role is a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic team and contribute to the delivery of an efficient and effective grants programme.

The Grants Officer will report to the Grants Manager and provide support to the wider Grants Team.

You will play a key role in supporting the Foundation to deliver its mission and objectives.

The role is hybrid, with travel to the office based in Woking, one day a week.

The salary range for this role is £23,000-£26,000.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Grants Manager in the delivery of the grants programme
  • Assist with grant assessments, including due diligence reviews and funding recommendations
  • Provide front-line contact, outreach and capacity building support to voluntary and community groups
  • Help the team to plan and implement a new Customer Relationship Management system
Requirements
  • Demonstrable experience of working in an office and using Microsoft Office software
  • Knowledge/experience of using CRM databases
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to manage time wisely
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work as part of a small team and work on own initiative
  • Strong attention to detail
Desirable Requirements
  • Experience working in the not-for-profit sector and reviewing grants applications and working on grants programmes
