Join Our Team as an Automotive Electrical Technician

We are seeking a skilled Automotive Electrical Technician to become a vital part of our engineering team. In this role, you will contribute to the maintenance and repair of our vehicle fleet, ensuring that we continue to provide excellent service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and diagnose vehicle electrical issues, determining the appropriate repair methods and necessary parts.
  • Perform vehicle servicing in line with established engineering procedures.
  • Possess a comprehensive understanding of vehicle electrical systems, including engine management, automatic and semi-automatic transmissions, electronic braking systems, suspension, multiplex wiring, and electronic control units (E.C.U.).
  • Utilize diagnostic tools effectively, including multimeters, temperature gauges, and E.C.U. diagnostic equipment.

Candidate Requirements:

  • A minimum of Level 3 NVQ or equivalent qualifications (such as City & Guilds Level 1 & 2).
  • Proficient in the safe use of workshop equipment and the repair of vehicle electrical systems.
  • A valid UK driving license is required.

Working Hours:

39 hours per week, with shifts scheduled from Monday to Friday or Tuesday to Saturday, alternating between 06:00-14:00 and 14:00-22:00.
