Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Management Accountant to join our client's team in Driffield. As a key member of the management team, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Directors in making informed financial decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Reporting: Prepare timely and accurate weekly and monthly financial reports, including management accounts, variance to budget analysis, and dashboard information.
  • Financial Planning: Contribute to the financial, operational, and strategic planning to ensure the smooth running of the company.
  • Financial Management: Manage the company's bank accounts, credit cards, and cash flow.
  • Cost Management: Allocate cost centers, departments, and projects to enable assessment of weekly work-in-progress and profitability.
  • Supplier Management: Manage supplier relationships and ensure timely payment.
  • Credit Control: Oversee credit control processes to minimize bad debt.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in financial management and accounting.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

What We Offer:

  • A competitive salary.
  • A pro-rata salary from £35,000 - £38,000.
  • A part-time role with flexible hours.
