Senior Customer Tax Manager

The Tax team at Aviva provides expert tax services to the UK companies within the Group and to Aviva Investors. As a Senior Customer Tax Manager, you will work with colleagues across five locations to provide advice and support relating to life products, including bonds, pensions, and endowment type policies, and tax matters attached to customers from Aviva products.

This role will focus on providing technical support on chargeable events reporting and any corresponding HMRC controversy. You will also ensure accurate and appropriate customer and product tax documentation across the business.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical support on life products, including bonds, pensions, and endowment type policies.
  • Ensure accurate and appropriate customer and product tax documentation.
  • Support the BUs with understanding and articulating the key tax issues arising from customer products.
Requirements:
  • A good technical knowledge of life products, including bonds, pensions, and endowment type policies.
  • Strong customer and product tax knowledge and experience.
  • Ability to readily evaluate and effectively communicate the impact of new developments.
  • Strong capabilities in MS Office applications.
