Job Details

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our team. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the teacher and pupils in the classroom.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the teacher in the management of the classroom and pupils
  • Assist pupils in accessing learning and achieving their full potential
  • Provide general support to the teacher and other staff members
Requirements
  • A good standard of written and numeracy skills
  • Good communication skills, both oral and written
  • Ability to use basic technology to support the role
  • Ability to build positive relationships with all stakeholders
  • Ability to work constructively as part of a team
Desirable Qualifications
  • Completion of the DfES Teacher Assistant Induction Programme or equivalent
  • Experience of working with young people, preferably in a school setting
  • Emergency First Aid or First Aid at Work qualification
