We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Clinical Psychologist to join our multidisciplinary team at Elysium Healthcare. As a Clinical Psychologist, you will play a vital role in providing evidence-based individual and group interventions, diagnostic and cognitive assessments, and risk assessments for children and adolescents with eating disorders and complex mental health difficulties.
Key Responsibilities:- Deliver evidence-based individual and group interventions for patients with severe eating disorders and complex mental health difficulties.
- Provide evidence-based and formulation-driven psychological perspectives to multidisciplinary risk management, care planning, and decision-making.
- Manage a complex caseload as an individual psychological therapist working within a multidisciplinary team.
- Monitor clinical progress through regular reviews of psychological treatment.
- Provide high-quality clinical supervision to junior members of the psychology team.
- Support staff development through the provision of training, consultation, formulation meetings, and reflective practice sessions.
- Contribute to service developments within the therapies team and wider service.
- Doctoral level training in clinical or counselling psychology (or equivalent if trained overseas).
- Registration with the HCPC as a practitioner psychologist.
- Knowledge and understanding of eating disorders and related comorbidities (e.g. anxiety, trauma, depression, self-harm), and the impact these have on both children and adolescents, and their families.
- Prior experience in eating disorders is desirable but not essential for this position.
- Post qualification training in the specialist application of therapeutic models relevant for working with children and adolescents with eating disorders and other comorbidities.
- Annual salary of up to £55,000.
