We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Pharmacist to join our Aseptic Services Team at Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing clinical pharmacy services, supporting the Aseptic Units in maintaining an excellent patient-centred service, and assisting the clinical trials team in the running of trials.
About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity for a Pharmacist to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, contributing to the delivery of high-quality patient care and research. You will have the opportunity to develop your skills and expertise in aseptic services, clinical trials, and patient-centred care.
Key Responsibilities- Provide clinical pharmacy services, including clinical screening, verification, and communication of therapeutic options for patients.
- Support the Aseptic Units in maintaining an excellent patient-centred service, compliant with Good Manufacturing Practice.
- Assist the clinical trials team in the running of trials, including screening and verification of SACT prescriptions.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with multidisciplinary teams, including nurses, clinicians, and management.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Masters Degree in Pharmacy or Equivalent.
- Registered as a pharmacist with the GPhC.
- Post Graduate Certificate in General Pharmacy Practice or equivalent experience.
- Post-registration training and experience in hospital pharmacy, including aseptic services.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
